HTDML custom-tag-table

The result of one-and-a-half year trial and error is finally ready to get out here on the World Wide Web.

It's inspiring, it's crazy-cool, it's lightning-fast and it's fun as fun can be.

Designing a whole new convention for the usage of custom-HTML5-tags was one of the most complicated things that I have done in 27 years of webdevelopment. I thought it would be a piece of cake, but I found out that this huge amount of freedom and lack of guidelines would be the most difficult part, because: where to begin?

I have thrown away hundreds of tags, not because they didn't do what I wanted them to do, but because I just couldn't figure out how they would fit into the whole system, like having all kinds of cars parked and one bicycle in between, probably that would be the best way to describe what I encountered.

But I have come to the point that I feel I can start refactoring all my websites, which will be going to take me probably half a year or so, but I like doing it, so it'll just be great fun to open all the old sourcecodes again and see what I have done so many years ago.

Finally: after this one-and-a-half year of thinking, trying, dumping and enjoying doing it, I think I am ready to show to the world what I have created; have a look at the table below and go to the HTDML homepage for tips and guidelines if you want to get started right away.
