1 + 1 = 3

Freedom was killed 5.000 years ago.

With the rise of the first Sumerian city-states, the first borders were also drawn. The land within became the property of kings. Taxes were introduced and with them, the loss of our freedom to choose our own lifestyles and to roam the earth without restraint. The system was born and it's still here.
It's hard to realise that we are still being oppressed in an incomprehensible system that primitive ancestors created 5.000 years ago.

Some individuals of our species thrive by making us fear each other and when some have too much, then the rest has too little. Only by trusting one another we can escape their grip on us.

These individuals make us hate, they make use of our animal-instinct that tells us to survive and that everything external is a potential threat. Their goal is to keep us divided, because they know that together we can easily change the situation and create a world where we all can be free and happy and live without fear.

Slavery was never abolished. It just changed form. Now, it wears the mask of freedom. We think we choose, but our choices are fenced in. Step outside those borders, and the system strikes back, hard.

The ones in power are keeping this system going and it's stronger than us all together, you can fight it, I can fight it, he can fight it and she can fight it, but we will never have enough power to change one thing. Because we don't fight together. We all fight our own fights and many don't even fight at all.

Democracy, voting rights, petitions, the right to demonstrate, to express our feelings: all possible because it doesn't change anything, it only gives us the illusion that we have power and that we do this all to ourselves.

If we really want to win; you, me, them, everybody, then we must stop blaming each other, Christian or Muslim or Jew, white or black or yellow or red. Because if we trust each other and create one plan then our strength will be more than the sum of the parts. Like two dots are just two dots, but joined together they form a line. Like a car and a can of petrol, both useless without fusion. Like when two stars collide and merge, the gravity of the new star will be higher than the sum of the gravity of the two stars separated.

This is the law of nature: separation is nothing, fusion is everything. That's when 1 + 1 = 3.

Only then, we all win.
